What can we do about a gov't that doesn't listen to the people but continues to create debt & inflation?

dumdum asked:

…by giving trillions that we can't afford to the few that influence them? They call it "economic recovery," "stimulus," and "bailouts" But it's still only one thing–stealing from countries to benefit the few while making everyone else worse of and forever financially enslaved (because of the inflation it will cause and the increased government debt that is causes which will have to be paid with future higher taxes, lost jobs, more business with China, less money for basic infrastructure maintenance, etc.).

Have you tried calling or writing your congressmen. It does work, not all the time but it still does work.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease

  3. Not a damn thing.

  4. Do not go down without a fight! We are stronger than them, and you can email your picture to Glenn Beck as a symbol of our numbers vs. those who "represent" us.
I am not soliciting, I think that the more we make our voices heard, perhaps those who are uninformed might listen.

  5. i guess a lot of people are easily fooled. This is made worse when the special interests run the school systems.

  6. Oh my some one with sense at last. Ya China will be your new leader SOON.

  7. We need a revolution and need to stop voting these guys into power!

  8. The only answer is a revolution. Which is supported by our Constitution. We are a country because the people were taxed by the British into poverty. Looks like the same thing is happening….

  9. So now your realising that politicians are only concerned with keeping the rich rich no matter what party their in

Unless we're all ready for a violent revolution, or coup of some sort, then we'll just sit back and take it up the **** until we've reached our breaking point. It's happened all throughout history without fail. The common people are quite the tolerant and lazy bunch.

  11. We can start by boycotting everything which was manufactured in Third World countries and buying American goods. This is going to be very hard to do at first, especially when it comes to clothing, shoes and all 'house' brands at Wal-Mart and other megastores. We'll have to pass on all professional sports gear as well as most college gear. So let's keep our old T-shirts and forget about buying new ones.

Money is the only thing these people understand and care about. They won't change unless we force them to.

If we spent more time on selective shopping, perhaps our retailers would start getting the message and order more American products.

BTW, in case you hadn't noticed – all of the Obama T-shirts were manufactured in the USA.

  12. 1776 perhaps?
